Project: TBS Cladding Solutions approached us needing a second production facility at their Nottinghamhsire site to facilitate the growth of the business. They decided to incorporate offices into the build to accommodate their growing sales and admin team and offer improved facilities for existing staff.
Building Specification - 50m x 20m x 6m. 80mm Core Composite Cladding in Juniper Green.

"We first contacted Ryman after a quick Google search whilst looking into the pros and cons of having a cold-rolled or hot-rolled building. We had already secured planning permission for the new building and had a cold rolled supplier lined up for the build, when after a few conversations with our Groundworkers, Architect and Engineers a hot rolled building was recommended over the cold rolled option.
At this point the pressure was on, the groundworkers had already started to clear the site, so I needed to get upto speed with the Pros and Cons of either option quickly, and more importantly, if we were to go with a hot rolled building I needed a supplier who could turn it round quickly. After making contact with Steff at Ryman, she spent a great amount of time explaining in great detail the differences and benefits of both types with no pushy sales tactics or biased recommendations, just honest facts about both. I decided that hot rolled was the way to proceed and explained to Steff that the pressure was now on, that we would need the quotation, drawings, and structural calculations turned around ASAP, and that we would require the building on site in 6-8 weeks.
After changing our design a few times and also reducing some of the unnecessary insulation specs as advised by Steff, we had our price including the mezzanine for the internal offices. From acceptance of the quotation we received the structural calcs, and full design within a couple of days, this allowed us to continue with the groundworks as planned and avoided any delays to our build schedule.
The steelwork and sheeting materials duly arrived on site on time and in full, the week before the installers were due. The Ryman installation team is second to none, the quality of their work, and their overall work ethic were impeccable, every aspect was finished either on time or before the dates agreed.
They were a pleasure to have on site, nothing was too much trouble for them.
